Design of Tuvalu Iwo Jima Silver Coins
The reverse side design of these Iwo Jima silver coins shows U.S. soldiers bravely raising the American flag, inspired by Joe Rosenthal’s famous photograph. The inscription “IWO JIMA 75TH ANNIVERSARY,” Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark, and the year 2020 in rare Roman numeral dating (MMXX) also feature on the reverse side.
